Income & expense tracking
Know where money comes from and where it goes. Categories are real accounts, so this view and your P&L always agree.
Simple on the surface. Solid underneath.
Friendly enough for your first day of bookkeeping.Rigorous enough for your accountant’s last review.
Every transaction has two sides, and Akaunty records both. Your books keep the complete financial picture, not just a list of payments.
Debits and credits must match before an entry can be posted. Accuracy is the foundation, not an afterthought.
See who changed what, and when. Posted entries are voided or reversed, never silently rewritten, so you stay accountable.
How it works
You don’t need to know which account to debit. Describe the money that moved. Akaunty picks the accounts, and you can review or change them before you save.
“Spent $180 on Figma with the company card.” Amount, contact and payment method are picked up as you type.
See the debit and credit lines Akaunty prepared. Adjust the category if you want. Every entry must balance before it can be posted.
Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and cash balances reflect the new entry the moment it’s posted.

Everything in one ledger
Every feature writes to the same double-entry ledger. An invoice, a bill and a bank transfer all show up correctly in your reports without extra work.
Know where money comes from and where it goes. Categories are real accounts, so this view and your P&L always agree.
Save drafts, post when ready, and void instead of delete. Nothing disappears from your history.
Send invoices and see who owes you what. Payments clear receivables automatically.
Record what you owe before you pay it, so payables and cash planning stay honest.
Rent, retainers and subscriptions repeat on schedule. You set it up once and review before posting.
Invoice in euros, get paid in dollars. Akaunty converts at the day’s rate and records the exchange gain or loss for you.
Run your studio, a side business and a nonprofit from one login. Each organization has its own books, currency, team and permissions.
Chart of accounts
Group accounts as deep as your business needs. Parent accounts roll up their children automatically, so every subtotal is always correct.

Posted entries can’t be edited or deleted. Mistakes are voided or reversed, and the original stays on record.
